Amir, a young man who was unarmed, was shot and killed by Shaheen Force officers on Tuesday in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar neighborhood. In order to combat street crime in Karachi, there is a specialized force known as the Shaheen Force.

At first, the police claimed that the victim was a suspect who had been killed because he had refused to cooperate.

Police claim that when Shaheen Force officers ordered some motorcycles to stop, the riders kept refusing. While fleeing the scene, the motorcyclists allegedly opened fire on the officers. Additionally, according to the police, they found some spent rounds from the gunfire.

The eyewitnesses, on the other hand, provide a totally different account. The mother of the boy claimed that the police had “murdered” her good son despite the fact that Amir was only going to see his brother. According to reports, a young girl was also with him.

The young man was shot and killed on a building’s staircase, according to several eyewitnesses, who also confirm that he did not resist the police and was unarmed.

After reviewing the CCTV footage and witness accounts, SSP-East Abdul Rahim Shirazi later disclosed that the policemen had been detained. He declared that in addition to the usual criminal investigation, departmental action would be taken against them.
