Across the country, Youm-e-Ali is being celebrated with great fervour and intensity, along with heightened security for processions and Majlis honouring Hazrat Ali’s martyrdom (RA).

Important Youm-e-Ali processions will take place under tight security in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and other major cities.

To prevent disturbances during processions attended by thousands of people, certain traffic and security protocols were implemented to guarantee the protection of both citizens and mourners.

In response to terror concerns, thousands of security officers are stationed along the routes of processions and significant imambargahs in the city.

The biggest procession in Karachi will start at Nishtar Park and end at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian, near Kharadar. The parade will begin at Mubarik Haveli in Lahore and end at Gamay Shah.

In addition to processions, lectures, conferences, and seminars are planned, during which academics and zakirs will discuss the life of Prophet Muhammad’s cousin and son-in-law, Hazrat Ali (R.A.) (SAW).
