Further Sessions At the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad, Judge Tahir Abbas Supra presided over the Toshakhana case hearing against Bushra Bibi.

Along with attorneys Salman Safdar, Intizar, and Naeem Panjotha, Bushra Bibi appeared in court. In this case, the investigating officer reportedly demanded the former first lady’s arrest in court.

The investigation officer reported that the FIA had received Bushra Bibi’s audio for forensic analysis.

According to the petitioner’s attorney, they were called and made to wait for three hours. He claimed that they had made it clear to the investigation officer that Bushra Bibi was not on the aforementioned audio.

The audio leak was being discussed, so the court asked if the matter related to receipts. The prosecution’s attorney was then instructed by the court to continue the case in accordance with the FIR.

According to the investigating officer, the court was asked to allow time for Bushra Bibi’s voice matching. The court granted the investigating officer’s request.

Bushra Bibi’s interim bail was subsequently extended by the court until September 12 and the case hearing was postponed.
