Reporting a death after 8 months, WHO experts team arrive in Wuhan

After eight months, China has reported its first death after which a team of experts from World Health Organization (WHO) has arrived there today.

This update on the death instantly gathered 100 million views on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, it came out on Weibo after of state media reported the WHO team’s plane landing in China.

It is currently being stressed that it is not necessary that this virus might not have come from Wuhan, where the first case of coronavirus was reported in 2019.

China had opened up after getting control over the covid-19 situation as the cases in the country diminished with the help of a strong lockdown. Although some provinces declared a lockdown. Latest waves in the situation has been made after this recent death because this indicates that China is once again faced with a coronavirus situation.

The WHO team will be investigation Wuhan, the origin of coronavirus but after they will be done being quarantined for 14 days at least. Currently the is quarantined at a hotel in China.

The team leader stated: “And then after the two weeks, we would be able to move around and meet our Chinese counterparts in person and go to the different sites that we will want to visit, “could be a very long journey before we get a full understanding of what happened.”

“I don’t think we will have clear answers after this initial mission, but we will be on the way,”

He further added: “The idea is to advance a number of studies that were already designed and decided upon some months ago to get us a better understanding of what happened,”
