Health workers advised to register for vaccine

As of today, The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has advised all frontline healthcare workers to enlist themselves for the coronavirus vaccine. 

The NCOC chief issued a statement and he has clarified it that healthcare workers were the main concern of the government right now.

He stated that the government will be taking all the necessary steps to make sure it keeps all the healthcare workers across the country.  

Based on the info by the NCOC, 32,860 frontline healthcare workers have been given doses of the coronavirus vaccines in Sindh. Whereas in Punjab, the total frontline healthcare workers who have been given the vaccines are curretnly 15,494. On the other hand, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,639 healthcare workers have been administered the vaccine doses.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,013 healthcare workers have been immunized however in Azad Kashmir, 651 healthcare workers and in Islamabad, 859 have been given the vaccine.

In Balochistan, 252 is the number of total healthcare workers who have been given vaccinates, according to the NCOC.
