There are numerous fans of football in Pakistan who have been unable to watch live international football matches in TV for a long time now.
Its about time, the public has demanded that live matches be telecasted on TV so that they can watch with ease rather than looking for other sources to watch a match.
Other leagues including La Liga an even Champions league can be streamed through Facebook or even at Television but the fans have problem looking for a good source to stream live matches of English Premier League.
Pakistan television (PTV) has got the broadcasting rights and even started to broadcast live matches last year when public demand increased but that was only for a short while and once again stopped broadcasting.
Now a trend on twitter started again namely “PermierLeagueDikhaoPTV”. With this hashtag, football lovers are demanding that the national TV channel starts broadcasting live matches of English Premier League.
The hashtags went on when finally they were noticed by Minister of science and technology; Fawad Chaudhary and he replied to the trend by tweeting: “Let me speak to @shiblifaraz and MD PTV … Show must go on:)’
Football fans are hopeful that now they might be able to watch EPL matches easily on TV.
