Vaccination made compulsory in Sindh

In order to guarantee the well-being of people against the coronavirus, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has made the announcement today to make COVID-19 vaccination compulsory for every national.

The chief minister also told concerned officials not to issue salaries of government workers who are denying to get themselves inoculated against the infectious coronavirus.

A conference of the Provincial Task Force on COVID-19 was hosted today, with CM Murad in the lead, to assess the most recent situation in the province and the inoculation campaign.

“We have to secure our citizens by taking some drastic measures,” Murad Ali Shah said and suggested the health department to start vaccination coverage facilities in every cranny and crook of the province.

“I want at least 300 basic units to be declared as vaccination centres in the rural areas with a target of vaccinating 30,000 people per day,” he said.

Murad Ali Shah, giving one more objective to the health department, said that five transportable immunization teams should be allotted on every taluka level.

The CM also ordered the health department to give a mark of 10,000 vaccinations to 90 private hospitals already permitted to immunize people.

It was also directed by the CM to authorize more private hospitals for vaccination.
