Turkey has termed the issue between Pakistan and India as a “burning issue” and called the United Nations (UN) to resolve it through dialogue.

During his virtual speech, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that this burning issue is the key to bring peace in South Asia and India abolishing Article 370 further worsened the situation.

He said: “The Kashmir conflict, which is also a key to the stability and peace of South Asia, is still a burning issue. Steps taken following the abolition of the special status of Jammu-Kashmir further complicated the problem”

He added “We are in favour of solving this issue through dialogue, within the framework of the United Nations resolutions and especially in line with the expectations of the people of Kashmir,”

A few days ago, OIC also showed deep concerns regarding the violation of human rights in by India in IOJK and demanded the UN to ask India to stop the violation.
