The total number of coronavirus cases has crossed the mark of 30 million and World Health Organization (WHO) has warned there might now be an alarming rate of covid-19 transmissions.

The world is preparing differently for this wave of Covid-19. France and Britain are setting rules and limiting public gathering in order to fight against the pandemic in a better way.

More precautionary measure needs to be taken in Europe since out of 943,000 global covid-19 deaths; Europe has contributed to more than 200,000 deaths.

There needs to be proper SOPs to be followed and better precautionary measures so that the rate of transmission could be reduced.

WHO regional director for Europe Hans Kluge mentioned that a surge has been seen this month and this should serve as a wake-up call.

He stated: “Although the numbers reflect more comprehensive testing, it also shows alarming rates of transmission across the region,”

With over 6 million cases, America remains the worst hit country. The number of covid-19 deaths in America has reached 197,500.

Followed by America, India comes at number 2 with most cases as the number of cases over there have crossed the mark of 5 million. Whereas Brazil comes at third with over 4 million cases.
