Fly Jinnah, which began flying in November 2022, has grown to be one of the biggest brands in Pakistan’s aviation industry very fast.

Notable news recently broke: Fly Jinnah has been authorised to perform CAT III approaches, arrivals, and departures by Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Airlines classified as CAT III are able to operate in severe, low-visibility situations with ease.

With CAT III certification for every aircraft in its fleet and every pilot, the low-cost airline is the sole domestic carrier in the nation.

It is anticipated to enhance the airline’s capacity to travel and function without interruption in inclement weather, especially when there is fog between the nation’s main cities.

It is noteworthy to emphasise that the Instrument Landing System’s Category 3 (CAT III) is extremely vital since it can enable landing operations in low-visibility situations.

On the Aviation Ministry’s suggestion, the federal cabinet approved Fly Jinnah’s foreign operations last year.

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkiye, and the United Arab Emirates are among the foreign locations served by Fly Jinnah.

In addition, a few months prior, the CAA had named it the most punctual domestic flight. With an amazing on-time departure percentage of 87.93%, Fly Jinnah shone out. Air Sial, at 86.89%, Air Blue, at 78.36%, and Serene Airlines, at 62%, were the next three highest.
