Sindh Government to cancel salaries of unvaccinated employees; issues warning

The government of Sindh has issued an ultimate notice for its employees to get vaccine shots in the time span of coming three days or they might lose the hold of their upcoming monthly salary.

As per the reports, the government has now started listing down the names of employees, and the vaccinated staff has been told to deliver their inoculation cards to the relevant officials.

Based on the details, only a few ones from the total of the 400,000 government employees have gotten the coronavirus vaccine shot. Likewise, more than 30 percent of the employees in the Sindh Secretariat have not been immunized.

The Sindh government has decided that the workers who wont be getting their shot will not be given their salaries from the coming month.

Sindh’s Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, gave out this decision after a meeting with health authorities to talk about the initial delta variant cases identified in the province.

“Any government employee who is not vaccinated should have their salary stopped from July,” his tweet read
