Saudi Arabia to lift travel ban for Pakistan

Pakistan is fortunately among those countries that have been able to gradually bring down the dangerously increasing number of covid-19 cases. After this decrease in the extent of pandemic in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia has finally lifted up the travel ban they had imposed due to the coronavirus.

This travel ban currently has been lifted for Pakistan and it is still on going for other countries including India, Argentina and Brazil as these countries are still fighting a hard battle against the pandemic with number of covid-19 cases increasing everyday.

The notice issued by Saudi authorities stated that: “We cannot risk lives of our citizens by allowing flights from India, Brazil and Argentine”

Earlier the authorities had planned that they will lift travel ban in Saudi Arabia  next year i.e. January 21st, 2020 but now they have announced that they will be lifting the ban in form of phases.
