It was revealed on Thursday that Saudi Arabia and Cyprus have decided to waive reciprocal visa requirements for those with diplomatic and special passports.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Constantinos Kombos, his counterpart, reached an agreement in this regard in Riyadh.

According to the Saudi Gazette, the ministers discussed measures to improve bilateral ties between the two nations in a number of areas and stepped up bilateral cooperation on matters of shared interest during their discussion.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Arabian government, led by the aspirational Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, is diversifying its sources of income in order to move away from the oil industry.

In the upcoming years, the government also plans to start the airline Riyadh Air, which will compete with rivals both domestically and internationally.
