The admission timetable for private medical and dentistry colleges in Punjab has been made public by the Provincial Admission Committee.

From October 16 to October 31, applications will be accepted by all private medical institutions. The University of Health Sciences’ (UHS) online application platform can be used to submit the applications.

Several significant decisions were taken during a meeting presided over by Ali Jan Khan, Secretary of the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department. Vice chancellors from all of Punjab’s public medical universities attended the meeting.

The initial cost for each private medical college will be collected by UHS. Students who wish to enrol in private colleges must pay a fee of Rs. 1 million through the Bank of Punjab over the course of three days.

There will not be a required upgrade for applicants to private medical colleges; it has been made plain. Additionally, it was established during the conference that students have the choice to continue to be admitted to their original colleges if they so choose.

The candidate will submit any unpaid fees to the relevant college after the admissions procedure is complete.

Secretary of Health Ali Jan Khan said during the conference that centralised admissions to for-profit medical schools will guarantee openness and merit-based decisions. In order to improve the efficiency of the online system, he also advocated for expanding the capacity of online applications.
