Thanks to Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique’s outstanding hundreds, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by successfully chasing the highest target in the history of the ODI World Cup.
In Hyderabad, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in a historic match, breaking the previous mark for the highest-ever successful run chase in World Cup history. Pakistan lost two wickets early in their chase of a daunting 345 run mark, which put them in a difficult position. This momentous victory, which beats Ireland’s previous mark of 329 runs against England in 2011, represents an important turning point in cricket history.

Pakistan has one again demonstrated their ability to shock the globe in any circumstance with this record-breaking chase as they expertly grabbed the victory away from Sri Lanka and recorded their second triumph of the competition.
