Cricket players need to be physically fit, and the Pakistan Cricket Board took this seriously. To increase players’ endurance, a special training program would be conducted under military supervision.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) responded to concerns over the activity levels of Pakistani players, and players are currently preparing for a 10-day training camp with the military services that will take place from March 25 to April 8 after the conclusion of Pakistan Super League season 9.

At a recent gathering in Islamabad, the capital, PCB head Mohsin Naqvi acknowledged the unusual workout and emphasized the necessity for players to increase their level of fitness.

Before the highly anticipated T20 World Cup and the series against New Zealand, Ireland, and England, Naqvi believed that intense training was vital.
