The oil refining firm Cynergico has announced intentions to update its operations in Pakistan in order to comply with international standards. The company’s goal is to generate premium-grade gasoline and diesel products in order to increase profitability.

Cynergico plans to increase its processing capacity to 50,000 barrels as part of this program, strengthening the nation’s potential for domestic oil refining.

This ambitious project, which is expected to be completed by 2028 and requires an estimated $1 billion in investment, represents a major commitment to the advancement of Pakistan’s oil refining industry.

It is anticipated that the upgrading program will decrease dependency on furnace oil and the requirement for expensive imports of refined goods, resulting in significant foreign exchange savings. Furthermore, the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s facilitative actions are set to simplify cooperation between public and private oil companies, creating an atmosphere that supports long-term, sustainable development.
