The national airline of the UAE, Etihad Airways, is prepared to start flying directly to Boston in March 2024.

Now that Boston has been added, it will join New York, Washington, and Chicago as the fourth American city in the airline’s network.

Beginning on March 31, 2024, there will be four flights per week from Abu Dhabi to Boston. The airline will use its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to carry out the flights, which are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, shared the news with the following statement “We’re thrilled to bring our service to Boston, bridging Abu Dhabi with not just the Northeast, but with the entire United States.”

He went on to say, “We are eager to welcome guests to our exceptional home and to help them reach a wider audience through our expanding global network.”

The pre-clearance service at Abu Dhabi Airport will be available to travellers on these new flights to Boston. One of only six such facilities worldwide, it streamlines travellers’ entry into the US by allowing them to clear immigration prior to even starting their trip.
