According to Whatsapp old settings, the application only permitted chat migration on a same phone number only, but Whatsappp is planning to remove this limitation from the app in the near future
Based on a new leak, the messaging app will soon enable you migrate your chats to some other phone number, making it convenient to migrate data among different WhatsApp accounts.
It will bring convenience for the users changing their phone numbers, wanting to keep the chats and receive the backup on that other numbers as well. Hence not only just chats, the media included in those chats such as pictures, videos, audios or documents will also be part of the data transferred to other numbers.
