Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed that world’s first covid-19 effective vaccine has been disclosed by Russia.
Reports stated that the vaccine has been prepared by Moscow’s Gamaleya Institute and the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
During a time period of two months, officially its clinical trials were conducted.
In a live teleconference on the Russian state TV with his cabinet members, Russian president revealed that one of his daughters has taken the vaccine after she got infected by the Covid-19 and feels better through the vaccine.
A World Health Organisation (WHO) spokesperson has said that they are in close contact with Russian health authorities.
