Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, has issued orders for utility stores all around the nation to extend their hours so that residents can take advantage of the ongoing Ramadan 2024 holiday.

According to reports, utility stores around the nation will stay open until 10 p.m., and general managers and zonal managers have been given instructions in this respect.

The government has agreed to offer the utility store staff an Iftar allowance of Rs. 500 per day as they would be taking their Iftar break during working hours.

Utility Stores’ Hours of Operation
Previously closed to Iftar, utility stores in Pakistan will now close at 10 p.m. The extended hours would facilitate easy shopping for consumers.

PM Visits Utility Stores

The prime minister had earlier in the day visited several utility outlets in Islamabad to oversee the distribution of Ramadan relief packages to worthy recipients.

He instructed the relevant agencies to take action during the visit to provide hassle-free service to the public.
