The 35-year-old has been assigned to the Parachinar Police Station as SHO, demonstrating the diversity and advancement of women within the police force.

She demonstrated her abilities in the field prior to being promoted to the position by leading numerous raids and actively taking part in police drills in the tribal district.

According to a senior police officer, Samreen’s appointment as SHO will give women who visit police stations to file complaints a sense of security because she wanted to work for women in the area.

According to District Police Officer Kurram Muhammad Imran, problems faced by women in the district, such as domestic violence, inheritance problems, and other issues, would also be addressed.

The appointment of a female SHO, according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan, demonstrated the department’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

He disclosed that a police station also has a female constable, Muharrir.
