Sarfaraz Ahmed’s departure plans for UAE modified due to permission

Previous Pakistani team captain and Quetta Gladiator’s skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed could not obtain approval for going to the UAE, as per reports.

Sarfaraz and 10 other people from Lahore were unable to get approval for the trip to Abu Dhabi. On the other hand, five persons comprising of fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain, have gone from Karachi to Abu Dhabi.

The previous national team captain was planned to travel to Abu Dhabi through a commercial flight just today at 4:00 am.

Sarfaraz has come back to the hotel again from the airport and will stay in isolation till the time he leave for Abu Dhabi.

Based on the news from reports, he has been in isolation at the hotel for the previous week and has also expressed annoyance with the PCB administration over matters concerning his departure.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council had given special approval to the PCB for the departure of 16 individuals from Pakistan to the UAE. The board had communicated with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for permission of all players and match authorities.

Sarfraz is expected to leave for Abu Dhabi tonight, as stated by PCB sources
