Punjab Launches Online System for College Admissions

0

In order to streamline the application process for Intermediate programmes, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has launched the Online College Admissions System (OCAS) for over 750 publicly owned colleges in Punjab.

With the OCAS, applicants from all over Punjab can now easily apply for intermediate admissions.

The only information they must submit is their matriculation roll number, their board name (BISE), and the passing year.

The cost of processing an application is 25 rupees which can be easily submitted at any of the Bank of Punjab’s branches. You don’t have to go to the college in person or get a prospectus.

Students can submit their admission forms conveniently online through OCAS, saving them the trouble of having to travel to different cities to do so. Additionally, the online portal offers free PDF downloads of the prospectuses for government colleges.

Interested applicants should visit the official website at ocas.punjab.gov.pk/ to submit an online application for Intermediate programmes at Punjab’s public colleges. The objective of this user-friendly system is to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of the admissions process for students throughout the province.
