Hina Sani, a cabin crew member of Pakistan International Airlines, is again making headlines. This time, she was taken into custody when officials discovered methamphetamine in her shoes.

Sani, the notorious national airline air hostess, was reportedly detained for the second time for possessing the prohibited narcotic, according to reports in the local media.

A PIA spokeswoman confirmed to the media that the flight attendant was being held, but they did not reveal the allegations.

The accused will shortly appear in court. Hina Sani cited two additional Toronto-based PIA executives, Faiza Javed and Jameel, as collaborators throughout the inquiry, and both were subjected to in-depth interrogations.

Hina was eventually freed after being first imprisoned for possessing numerous passports. She is still barred from working on an airline, though.

According to reports, as additional processes are ongoing, Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency contacted PIA to request more details on her case.
