The Pakistani democratic movement (PDM) which currently consists of 11 opposition parties was formed last month by Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN), Pakistan peoples party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI).

Main leaders from the parties including Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana fazal-ur-Rehman addressed the public during Gujrawal Jalsa on Friday.

The PDM criticized the current government and put forward the warning that the tenure of the government is limited and will be over soon.

Maryam Nawaz also addressed the public stating that she is fighting for the lost businesses and people who lost their jobs during this government’s tenure: “People [journalists] who stood with the truth were fired from their jobs, I have come to present the case of the Lady Health Workers as well before you, who are languishing on the roads of Islamabad.”

She also criticized that the government has banned the media outlets hence there is quite no one to talk about the corruption of this government.

After Maryam, it was Bilawal Bhutto who came forward to criticize the government and the tiger force formed by the PM. He said: “Imran’s solution to inflation is Tiger Force,” he said. “His solution to locusts is the Tiger Force. His solution to COVID-19 is the Tiger Force. This is the solution he has to your problems.”

He further added remarks about corruption: “He promised to end corruption but instead, broke all records of corruption,”
