Pakistan’s active covid-19 cases reaached the highest level

With 4,016 new cases, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan has gone up to the highest level in 2021, as per the info by National Command and Operation Centre given out today.

Based on official figures, 62,496 coronavirus tests were conducted all over Pakistan in the last 24 hours, of which 4,016 came out positive.

The number of active cases stood at the highest level during 2021 at 92,844.

The official website of NCOC indicated that the rate of positive cases during the last 24 hours was 6.42% while 92 people lost their lives to the deadly virus.

The number of deaths from COVID-19 in Pakistan has gone up to 25,415 and the total number of cases now stand at1,144,341.

Additionally, in the previous 24 hours, 3,235 patients have defeated COVID-19 in Pakistan, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,026,082.

A day before, Pakistan reported 4,553 new coronavirus cases whereas, another 85 people lost their lives to the virus yesterday.

Pakistan has been done with at least 47,802,106 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Keeping in mind every person requires two doses, which is sufficient to have vaccinated about 11% of the country’s population.
