Pakistan Covid-19 cases continue to escalate

The third wave of the coronavirus isn’t stopping currently to strengthen its hold on the country, with more than 5,000 testing positive for the virus just yesterday, based on the data from the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). 

The NCOC stated that eighty-one people faced death from the coronavirus yesterday, from  the total sum, 74 passed away in hospitals whereas seven passed away not being present in the hospitals.

Almost a number of 5,020 people tested positive for the virus just yesterday, according to the NCOC’s data. 

The total figure of active cases in the country has escalated to 60,072 on April 4. Pakistan carried out 55,605 tests on April 3.

A sum of 613,058 have so far improved from the condition of being infected by the virus whereas the total sum of deaths, with the fresh count of 81 mortalities, has escalated to 14,778.
