The Play 8T is a new low-cost handset that Honour has released in its home market of China. The phone’s specifications are remarkably similar to those of the Honour Play 50 Plus, which was released earlier this month.

The 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen on the Honour Play 8T has a 1080p resolution and a maximum brightness of 850 nits. The phone’s rear design features a special textured surface that produces shadow and light effects. The gadget has a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security.

The Dimensity 6080 chipset, along with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, an extra 8 GB of virtual RAM, and a roomy 256 GB of storage, power the Play 8T’s internal components. It already has Magic OS 7.2 pre-installed, which is based on Android 13.

The Honour Play8T’s camera features include a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP secondary camera. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front.

A big 6,000 mAh battery inside it ensures endurance and prolonged use. The company claims that the Play 8T can provide an astonishing 123 hours of music playback, 10 hours of gaming, or 55 hours of call time once it is fully charged. Additionally, the phone supports 35W rapid charging.
