Recently the famous TikToker Jannat Mirza became the first one on TikTok in Pakistan to reach 10 million followers. The day after this, Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) put a ban on the application for its content being indecent and immoral.
After this ban, people we divided on the basis of views and opinions. There are some people who consider this ban a good thing and do not want it to be lifted whereas there are some who are against this banning culture and wants PTA to lift the ban.
Among these, Jannat poured in her views as well and stated that this ban is a good thing which left her fans feeling shocked but her next statement clarified it.
She stated: “In my opinion, this is a very good step because there has been a lot of rudeness on TikTok in the recent past”
She was vacationing in Japan at that time. Recently when a fan commented on her picture asking why she is planning on moving to Japan she replied: “Because Pakistan is extremely beautiful and good. But the Pakistani crowd’s mentality is not good.” Her fans are disappointed in her decision and her remarks about Pakistani people. There are considering it highly disrespectful as they are the ones who gave the love and fame she needed to be star she is today. People are calling her a hypocrite for her actions.
