Iraq impose travel ban on Pakistan and India

Iraq has barred the citizens from Pakistan and India from entering the premises of the country via airway and land until any other decision arrives, this decision has been made as a result of increasing covid cases.

Iraq’s federal government had given out latest travel rules on 24 May according to which, the travelers from Pakistan, India Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Brazil, Colombia, and Bahrain have been banned from entering the country.

As per the new rules, the decision to bar travelers from these countries coming to Iraqi premises had been made after viewing the current situation of the increase in the cases of the modified coronavirus.

Other than  this, the government of Canada has also prolonged its ban on incoming flights from India and Pakistan until June 21 to curb the spread of the virus. The first ban was placed on 22 April, which had to terminate on 22 May.
