Iranian president invites Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz on a state visit to Iran

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, has been invited by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran as a state guest.

Separate meetings were held between Punjab Governor and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

The creation of a joint business council and the exchange of bilateral delegations were addressed at the meeting.

Following the meeting with the Chief Minister, delegation-level discussions took place as well.

The formation of a joint business council and the delegation exchange between Punjab and Iran were topics of discussion for both parties.

The Chief Minister of Punjab has also been invited to visit Iran by the Iranian President.
