Internet service provision initiated in South Waziristan

Pakistan’s top tier 4G operator, Jazz, has launched the rollout of 4G in South Waziristan to take forward the area towards further advancement with high-speed mobile broadband.

The 4G rollout has been introduced in the region after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recently ensure it to the locals of South Waziristan that high-speed internet facilities will provided in the tribal area. It is relevant to consider that Jazz is the only operator that is ensuring 4G services in this area and the rollout will move forward at a rapid pace.

Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of the service provider in the area stated:, “The rollout of 4G services in South Waziristan is in line with our commitment to bridge the digital divide and connect our fellow countrymen with fast and reliable mobile broadband. Our ambition to digitally empower Pakistan is fueled through enhanced connectivity and by creating equal opportunities for all. We will continue to empower the people in remote areas to ensure that every Pakistani has access to high-speed internet, and no one is left behind.”

In the final months of 2020, Jazz has financed PKR 12.3 billion, 4G network share being the main concern, allowing the brand to take its 4G population coverage to 59% and 4G consumer number to 25 million.
