Government Reduces Petrol Price by RS. 10 per Liter

The federal government announced a price decrease for all petroleum products on Thursday.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced the decision at a press conference. Petrol prices have been reduced by Rs. 10 per liter, while high-speed diesel (HSD) prices have been reduced by Rs. 7.50 per liter.

Petrol will now cost Rs. 214.80 per liter, while HSD will cost Rs. 227.80 per liter.

Light diesel oil (LDO) and kerosene oil prices have also been reduced by Rs. 10 per liter by the government. The price of LDO has been reduced to Rs. 169 per liter, while the price of kerosene oil has been reduced to Rs. 171.83 per liter. The new prices will be in effect for the next two weeks.

During the most recent fortnightly review, the government reduced the prices of light diesel oil (LDO) and kerosene oil. However, in the last four fortnightly reviews, petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged.
