Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms & Special Initiatives Asad Umar has told that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will hold a session on 29 June to talk about physical examinations, summer holidays, and the promotion of students.

Students in Faizabad had raised objection against online examinations just recently, and the police had taken a few of them in custody to disseminate them during the demonstration.

Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood had earlier revealed that the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations would commence after 10 July all over Pakistan and promotion to the next class won’t be granted to any student without examinations.

He had mentioned that the “exams for students of classes nine and 10 would be held only for mathematics and elective subjects this year,” and that the O-Level examinations will be taken after 26 July.
