The United Nations mentioned it today that the novel coronavirus may end p becoming a seasonal virus but advised governments not to take it as a reason to ease pandemic-related actions.

It’s been over one year since the novel coronavirus first appeared in China, quite a lot queries are still there related to the spread of the virus that has taken lives of nearly 2.7 million people globally.

In the initial findings, a professional group was given a task to look for the reason behind one of the mystery related to the virus by examining possible meteorological and air quality effects on the spread of COVID-19, the group established some signs the disease would develop into a seasonal threat.

The 16-member group was arranged by the UN’ World Meteorological Organization put a bit emphasis on the finding that respiratory viral diseases are usually seasonal, “in particular the autumn-winter peak for influenza and cold-causing coronaviruses in temperate climates.”

“This has fuelled expectations that, if it persists for many years, COVID-19 will prove to be a strongly seasonal disease,” it was mentioned in a statement

Current studies forestall that spread of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 disease, “may become seasonal over time”.
