On Monday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Asim Munir visited the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) annual convocation.

Gen. Asim attended the Master Convocation Ceremony at the NUST, underscoring the value of education, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Gen. Asim stated in his speech that education is not an option but rather a necessity. He praised the pupils for embarking on a fresh adventure. During convocation week, students received their bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.

Over 3,500 graduates from all NUST schools are receiving degrees at the main campus in seven fundamental fields, according to an ISPR news statement. Gen. Asim sent his warmest congratulations to the graduates, their families, and the professors.

Speaking to the students, the COAS praised NUST for creating an environment that is favorable to teaching and learning and that cultivates creative minds who are ready to serve the country.

Gen. Asim highlighted that they should let their personalities and decisions reflect this greater duty as they travel forward. He emphasized identifying and studying Pakistan’s difficulties and utilizing their intellectual creativity to discover answers.
