Anwarrul Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister of Pakistan, spoke with Xi Jinping, the president of China, at the Third Belt and Road Forum dinner.

At the Belt and Road Forum, which was designed to highlight the development accomplishments of CPEC over the past ten years as well as its future objectives, Kakar is speaking on behalf of Islamabad. President Xi Jinping’s ambitious global infrastructure and energy programme to promote global trade is being commemorated in China on its tenth anniversary.

PM Anwaar Kakar was welcomed by the Chinese President and First Lady at the Third Belt and Road Forum dinner, which was hosted in honour of the world leaders.

The PM was accompanied by a number of interim cabinet ministers as he was in the next country. The meal was also attended by leaders from other nations, including Russia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mongolia, and Sri Lanka.

The premier of Pakistan met informally with other foreign leaders who attended the event.

According to Xi Ping’s opening remarks, China is committed to upholding the spirit of the Silk Road, fostering global connectivity, creating forums for economic cooperation, and boosting global economic growth.

Xi added that the achievements of the Belt and Road cooperation are not a windfall nor made with others’ alms-giving and charity, but rather are earned by governments, enterprises, and the people of participating countries with their diligence, wisdom, and courage. The BRI has delivered thousands of practical cooperation projects and achieved solid and substantial results, he said.

Xi noted that the historical trend of peace, development, and win-win cooperation is unstoppable, and that people’s desire for a better life as well as the aspiration of all countries for common development and prosperity are irresistible. “The Belt and Road cooperation pursues development, aims at mutual benefits, and conveys a message of hope,” Xi said.
