Renowned actor and director Yasir Nawaz announced on Tuesday the passing of his brother, Waqar Nawaz.
Taking to social media, Yasir wrote: “With deep sorrow, we share that our beloved and caring brother Waqar Nawaz has passed away. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience and strength to his family – Ameen.
“We kindly request you to remember him in your duas. Ameen,” he said.
Waqar was also the brother of Danish Nawaz, Faraz Nawaz and Anzalna.
It is pertinent to note that funeral prayers for Waqar Nawaz were held today after Zuhr prayers in Karachi.
