More than 200,000 workers will take part in the drive, which aims to vaccinate 23 million children across Punjab, according to the Punjab Anti-Polio Programme.
In Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, the campaign will run for seven days, while in other districts, it will continue for five days.
Parents have been urged to cooperate with vaccination teams to help make Pakistan polio-free.
“The Punjab government remains committed to ensuring that every child receives the vaccine”, said Uzma Kardar, Focal Person for the Polio Programme.
